08/10/08 - Brenes cashes at LAPT Punta del Este

The ground-breaking Season 1 of the Latin American Poker Tour has drawn to a close in Uruguay and Team PokerStars Pro Humberto Brenes has finished in the money, registering a 28th place for $5,960 at the Punta del Este tournament. The tourney, which attracted 351 entries in total creating a prize pool of $851,175, was won by Spain’s Jose Miguel-Espinar who scooped $241,735 for first place.

07/15/08 - Four cashes for Brenes at 2008 WSOP*

One of the liveliest characters in poker and Team PokerStars Pro, Humberto Brenes has recorded a solid performance at the 2008 World Series, notching four in-the-money finishes, with his best result a 14th place in the $5,000 No Limit Hold’em for $34,357. These four cashes have taken him to a staggering 52 career cashes at the World Series of Poker*.
